FRANCE, Sep. 19, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 7: After their 1-1 draw against Nancy on September 13, “Les Lionceaux” returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Nimes this Friday.
Sochaux dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Raphaël Caceres in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, “Les Lionceaux” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Toko Ekambi in stoppage time.
FC Sochaux-Montbeliard climbed to 12nd place with 8 points from 7 games, tie on points with US Creteil.
