Ligue 2 (Week 10) : Brest beats Tours 2-0
FRANCE, Oct. 6, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 10: After their 0-0 draw against Sochaux on September 26 and 1-1 draw against Chateauroux on September 26, Brest bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Tours this Monday.
Brest dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Alexandre Alphonse in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Brest players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Verdier in the 74th minute.
Stade Brest climbed to third place with 17 points from 10 games, tie on points with Troyes AC.
