Ligue 2 (Week 22) : Creteil beats Niort 3-1
FRANCE, Jan. 30, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 22: Two wins in a row for Creteil. After their 1-0 win against Laval on January 23, the “Rams” continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 3-1 victory over Niort this Friday.
Creteil dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Frédéric Piquionne in the 3rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the “Rams” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Dabo '66 and N Doye '87).
US Creteil climbed to 11st place with 28 points from 22 games, only one point behind Nimes Olympique.
