Ligue 2 (Week 12) : Metz beats Ajaccio 1-0
FRANCE, Oct. 23, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 12: After their 1-1 draw against Brest on October 16 and 2-2 draw against Clermont on October 16, Metz returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Ajaccio this Friday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Venezuelan forward Juan Falcón in the 71st minute.
Metz climbed to second place with 23 points from 12 games, tie on points with AS Nancy-Lorraine.
