Ligue 2 (Week 14) : Niort hold Metz to 1-1
FRANCE, Nov. 6, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 14: Metz was held to a 1-1 draw by Niort on Friday.
Metz players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Metz midfielder Yeni Ngbakoto in the 42nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Niort with a saving goal from Niort defender Matthieu Sans in the 71st minute.
Metz climbed to first place with 27 points from 14 games, one point ahead of runner-up Dijon FCO, which has a game in hand.
