Ligue 2 (Week 26) : Brest beats Niort 2-1
FRANCE, Feb. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 26: Two wins in a row for Brest. After their 2-1 win against Bourg-Peronnas on February 5, Brest continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Niort this Friday.
Battocchio Cristian opened the score in the 31st minute, before seeing Niort catch up in the 44th minute thanks to Bouardja Messaoud. 1-1 at half time. Brest eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Alphonse in the 69th minute.
Stade Brest remains in 9th place with 36 points from 26 games, 2 points behind Clermont Foot.
