Ligue 2 (Week 36) : Niort beats Tours 2-1
FRANCE, Apr. 29, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 36: After their 0-0 draw against Bourg-Peronnas on April 22, “Les Chamois” returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Tours this Friday.
Tours had started off well by taking the lead in the 13th minute with a goal by midfielder Baptiste Santamaria. Trailing 1-0 at half time, “Les Chamois” nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Dabasse Adrian '83 and Koné '90).
Tours FC remains in 10th place with 47 points from 36 games, 3 points behind Nimes Olympique.
