MLS : Dallas beats Portland 3-1
UNITED STATES, Apr. 13, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 1-1 draw against Columbus Crew on April 9 and 2-2 draw against San Jose Earthquakes on April 9, the Hoops bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Portland Timbers this Wednesday.
FC Dallas dominated the first half thanks to goals from Barrios Michael ('4), Castillo Fabian ('26) and Akindele Tesho ('29). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Hoops further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
FC Dallas climbed to first place with 14 points from 7 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Sporting Kansas City, which has a game in hand.
