MLS : Toronto defeats Orlando 2-1
UNITED STATES, Aug. 24, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for Toronto FC. After their 1-3 win against Philadelphia Union on August 20, Toronto FC continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 2-1 victory over Orlando City this Wednesday.
Toronto FC dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ricketts Tosaint in the 7th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Toronto FC players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Altidore Jozy with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Toronto FC climbed to second place with 43 points from 26 games, 2 points behind FC Dallas.
