MLS : Kansas City beats Dallas 2-0
UNITED STATES, Aug. 19, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 1-0 to Seattle Sounders FC on August 12, the Wizards returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over FC Dallas this Saturday.
Sporting Kansas City dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Rubio Diego in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Wizards further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Fernandes Gerso in stoppage time.
Sporting Kansas City climbed to fourth place with 40 points from 25 games, only one point behind Chicago Fire SC.
