MLS : Colorado defeats Montreal 2-1

UNITED STATES, Sep. 30, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 2-1 to Vancouver Whitecaps on September 27 and 2-0 to FC Dallas on September 27, the Rapids bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Montreal Impact this Saturday.

The Colorado Rapids dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Aigner Stefan in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Rapids further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Gordon Alan with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.

Montreal Impact are down in 15th place with 39 points from 32 games, 3 points behind San Jose Earthquakes.
