UNITED STATES, Oct. 22, 2017 (AMP) — MLS: The match between actual leader Toronto FC and Atlanta United ended in a frustrating 2-2 draw on Sunday.

Atlanta United players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Asad Yamil on penalty in the 31st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Martinez Josef goal ('74) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Toronto FC with goals by Altidore Jozy ('60) and Giovinco Sebastian ('84).

Toronto FC remains in first place with 69 points from 34 games, a 12-point lead over runner-up New York City FC.
