ENGLAND, Feb. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 25: After their 1-1 draw against West Ham on February 8, the Red Devils returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Burnley this Wednesday.
Chris Smalling scored dual goals
Manchester United dominated the first half thanks to goals from Smalling ('6, '45). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Red Devils further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Van Persie on penalty with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Manchester United FC climbed to third place with 47 points from 25 games, 5 points behind Manchester City FC.
