Premier League (Week 15) : Southampton hold Aston Villa to 1-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 15: The match between Southampton and Aston Villa ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Aston Villa players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Aston Villa defender Joleon Lescott in the 44th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Southampton with a saving goal from Spanish midfielder Oriol Romeu in the 73rd minute.
Southampton are down in 12nd place with 21 points from 15 games, tie on points with Everton, which has a game in hand.
