Premier League (Week 24) : Everton beats Newcastle 3-0
ENGLAND, Feb. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 24: After losing 1-2 to Swansea on January 24, the Toffees returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Newcastle this Wednesday.
Ross Barkley scored dual goals
Everton dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Aaron Lennon in the 23rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Toffees further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Barkley '88/penalty, '90/penalty).
Everton climbed to 11st place with 32 points from 24 games, only one point behind Stoke City.
