Premier League (Week 4) : Arsenal defeats Southampton 2-1
ENGLAND, Sep. 10, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 4: Two wins in a row for Arsenal. After their 1-3 win against Watford on August 27, the Gunners continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory over Southampton this Saturday.
Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Čech opened the score in the 18th minute with an own goal, before seeing Arsenal catch up in the 29th minute thanks to Laurent Koscielny. 1-1 at half time. The Gunners eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Cazorla on penalty in stoppage time.
Arsenal climbed to fifth place with 7 points from 4 games, only one point behind Tottenham Hotspur.
