ENGLAND, Nov. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 11: Two wins in a row for Burnley. After their 1-0 win against Newcastle on October 30, Burnley continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Southampton this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Welsh forward Sam Vokes with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Burnley climbed to 6th place with 19 points from 11 games, tie on points with Arsenal, which has a game in hand.
