Premier League (Week 26) : Bournemouth beats Stoke City 2-1

ENGLAND, Feb. 3, 2018 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 26: Two wins in a row for Bournemouth. After their 0-3 win against Chelsea on January 31, the Cherries continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory over Stoke City this Saturday.

Stoke City had started off well by taking the lead in the 5th minute with a goal by Swiss midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Cherries nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (King Joshua '70 and Mousset Lys '79).

AFC Bournemouth climbed to 9th place with 31 points from 26 games, 4 points behind Leicester City.
