Segunda division (Week 22) : Alavés beats Leganés 2-0
SPAIN, Jan. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 22: After their 1-1 draw against Las Palmas on January 17, Los Babazorros bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Leganés this Saturday.
Alavés dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Torbio in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Babazorros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Garcia seconds before the end of regulation.
Deportivo Alavés climbed to 12nd place with 27 points from 22 games, tie on points with RCD Mallorca, which has a game in hand.
