Segunda division (Week 25) : Numancia defeats Ponferradina 2-1
SPAIN, Feb. 15, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 25: Two wins in a row for Numancia. After their 3-0 win against Sabadell on February 8, Los Numantinos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Ponferradina this Sunday.
Ponferradina had started off well by taking the lead in the 37th minute with a goal by Yuri. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Numantinos nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Enrich '89 and Vicente '90).
SD Ponferradina remains in 7th place with 36 points from 25 games, 4 points behind Real Zaragoza, which has a game in hand.
