Segunda division (Week 7) : Almeria and Tenerife tied at 2-2
SPAIN, Oct. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 7: The match between Almeria and Tenerife ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Tenerife players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Mesa Alexander in the 21st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Reyes Lorenzo goal into his own net ('89) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Almeria with goals by Jimenez Alberto ('58 own) and Vazquez Manuel ('66).
CD Tenerife climbed to 13rd place with 8 points from 7 games, tie on points with Girona FC, which has a game in hand.
