Segunda division (Week 8) : Cordoba beats Lugo 2-1
SPAIN, Oct. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for Cordoba. After their 1-0 win against Bilbao Athletic on October 3, Los Califas continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Lugo this Sunday.
Caballero Pablo opened the score in the 20th minute, before seeing Cordoba catch up in the 28th minute thanks to Jimenez Francisco. 1-1 at half time. Los Califas eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Pineda Jean in the 79th minute.
Cordoba CF climbed to second place with 16 points from 8 games, tie on points with CA Osasuna.
