Segunda division (Week 14) : Girona defeats Albacete 3-0
SPAIN, Nov. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 14: After losing 0-1 to Lugo on November 14 and 1-0 to Alavés on November 14, the Blanquivermells returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Albacete this Sunday.
Girona dominated the first half thanks to goals from Clerc Carlos ('25) and Morillas Jairo ('42). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Blanquivermells further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Alcaraz Ruben with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Girona FC climbed to 14th place with 17 points from 14 games, tie on points with AD Alcorcon, which has a game in hand.
