Segunda division (Week 31) : Oviedo defeats Ponferradina 3-0
SPAIN, Mar. 26, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 31: After three straigth defeats, the Carbayones bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Ponferradina this Saturday.
Toche Nicolas scored dual goals
Real Oviedo dominated the first half thanks to goals from Toche Nicolas ('17) and Fernandez David ('36). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Carbayones further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Toche Nicolas in the 67th minute.
Real Oviedo climbed to fourth place with 49 points from 31 games, only one point behind Deportivo Alavés, which has a game in hand.
