Segunda division (Week 33) : Leganés beats Valladolid 4-0
SPAIN, Apr. 9, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 33: After losing 3-0 to Mallorca on April 2, Los Pepineros returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory over Valladolid this Saturday.
Leganés dominated the first half thanks to goals from Fernandez Guillermo ('16) and Appelt Gabriel ('44). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Pepineros further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Sastre Lluis '51 and Szymanowski Alexander '84).
CD Leganés climbed to first place with 57 points from 33 games, one point ahead of runner-up Deportivo Alavés, which has a game in hand.
