Segunda division (Week 14) : Elche beats Valladolid 2-0
SPAIN, Nov. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 14: After their 1-1 draw against Cordoba on November 6 and 2-2 draw against Numancia on November 6, Los Franjiverdes bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Valladolid this Saturday.
Fernandez Alex scored dual goals
Elche dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Fernandez Alex in the 3rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Franjiverdes further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Fernandez Alex in the 79th minute.
Elche CF climbed to second place with 18 points from 12 games, 6 points behind Levante UD, which has a game in hand.
