SPAIN, Nov. 27, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 16: After losing 2-1 to Almeria on November 18, Los Franjiverdes returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Mallorca this Sunday.
Mallorca made Elche doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Fernandez Guillermo in the 68th minute.
Elche CF climbed to second place with 21 points from 14 games, 3 points behind Levante UD, which has two games in hand.
