ITALY, Nov. 2, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 10: After losing 1-0 to Inter Milan on October 29, the Blucerchiati returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Fiorentina this Sunday.
Sampdoria dominated the first half thanks to goals from Palombo ('27 on penalty) and Rizzo ('43). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Blucerchiati further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Eder in the 78th minute.
UC Sampdoria climbed to third place with 19 points from 10 games, 3 points behind AS Roma.
