Serie A (Week 11) : Cagliari and Genoa play to a 1-1 draw
ITALY, Nov. 9, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 11: The match between Cagliari and Genoa ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Cagliari players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Brazilian forward Farias in the 16th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Genoa with a saving goal from Cagliari defender Rossettini into his own net in the 53rd minute.
Genoa CFC climbed to fifth place with 19 points from 11 games, tie on points with Lazio, which has a game in hand.
