Serie A (Week 19) : Napoli beats Frosinone 5-1
ITALY, Jan. 10, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 19: Three wins in a row for Napoli. After their success against Atalanta and Torino, the Partenopei continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 5-1 victory over Frosinone this Sunday.
Gonzalo Higuaín scored dual goals
Napoli dominated the first half thanks to goals from Albiol ('20) and Higuaín ('30 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Partenopei further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Hamsik '59, Higuaín '60 and Gabbiadini '71).
Napoli climbed to first place with 41 points from 19 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Inter Milan.
