Serie B (Week 11) : Catania beats Entella 5-1
ITALY, Oct. 28, 2014 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 11: Two wins in a row for Catania. After their 3-1 win against Vicenza on October 25, Catania continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 5-1 victory over Virtus Entella this Tuesday.
Catania dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Escalante in the 22nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Catania players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Rinaudo '55, Sauro '81, Martinho '88 and Marcelinho '90).
Gli Elefanti climbed to 15th place with 12 points from 11 games, only one point behind AS Varese.
