Serie B (Week 19) : Pro Vercelli defeats Ternana 2-1
ITALY, Dec. 20, 2014 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 19: Two wins in a row for Pro Vercelli. After their 0-1 win against Crotone on December 13, the Bianche Casacche continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-1 victory over Ternana this Saturday.
Ternana had started off well by taking the lead in the 42nd minute with a goal by Ceravolo. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Bianche Casacche nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Cosenza '50 and Marchi '85 on penalty).
FC Pro Vercelli 1892 climbed to 8th place with 27 points from 19 games, only one point behind Bologna FC 1909.
