ITALY, Mar. 9, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 30: Two wins in a row for Virtus Entella. After their 0-1 win against Ternana on March 3, the Biancocelesti continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-1 victory over Cittadella this Monday.
Virtus Entella dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Staiti in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Biancocelesti further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ferreira with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Virtus Entella climbed to 14th place with 36 points from 30 games, tie on points with Ternana Calcio.
