Serie B (Week 6) : Vicenza beats Avellino 4-1
ITALY, Oct. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 6: After four straigth draws, the Biancorossi returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Avellino this Saturday.
Vicenza dominated the first half thanks to goals from Gatto Leonardo ('19 on penalty), Galano Cristian ('33) and Biraschi Davide ('45 own). Leading 3-1 at the break, the Biancorossi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Giacomelli Stefano in the 54th minute.
Vicenza Calcio climbed to 7th place with 10 points from 6 games, only one point behind FC Bari 1908.
