Serie B (Week 7) : Cagliari defeats Cesena 3-1
ITALY, Oct. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 7: After losing 1-0 to Pescara on October 3, the Rossoblu returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Cesena this Sunday.
Cagliari dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Farias Diego in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Rossoblu further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Sau Marco '63 and Melchiorri Federico '74).
Cagliari remains in first place with 16 points from 7 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up FC Crotone.
