Serie B (Week 9) : Spezia hold Avellino to 1-1
ITALY, Oct. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 9: Spezia was held to a 1-1 draw by Avellino on Saturday.
Avellino players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Jidayi Wiliam in the 41st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Spezia with a saving goal from Nene in the 79th minute.
Spezia Calcio are down in fifth place with 15 points from 9 games, one point behind AS Livorno Calcio.
