Serie B (Week 12) : Crotone defeats Avellino 3-1
ITALY, Nov. 9, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 12: After losing 4-1 to Pescara on October 31, the Pitagorici returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Avellino this Monday.
Crotone dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Zampano Giuseppe in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Pitagorici further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ricci Ffederico '60 and Budimir Ante '77).
FC Crotone climbed to second place with 24 points from 12 games, 2 points behind Cagliari.
