Serie B (Week 26) : Lanciano beats Modena 2-1
ITALY, Feb. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 26: Two wins in a row for Virtus Lanciano. After their 0-2 win against Vicenza on February 6, the Frentani continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-1 victory over Modena this Saturday.
Modena had started off well by taking the lead in the 9th minute with an own goal by Vastola Gaetano. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Frentani nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Di Francesco Federico '49 and Bonazzoli Federico '87).
Virtus Lanciano climbed to 18th place with 28 points from 26 games, tie on points with FC Pro Vercelli 1892.
