Serie B (Week 33) : Benevento beats Spezia 3-1

ITALY, Apr. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 33: After losing 3-1 to Perugia on March 25 and 1-3 to Trapani on March 25, the Stregoni bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Spezia this Saturday.

Piccolo Antonio opened the score in the 12th minute, before seeing Benevento catch up in the 38th minute thanks to Ceravolo Fabio penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Stregoni eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Melara Fabrizio ('81) and Ciciretti Amato ('90).

Benevento Calcio remains in fourth place with 52 points from 33 games, 6 points behind Hellas Verona.
