MILAN, May. 31, 1934 (AMP) — Italy 1934 : Germany reached the semifinals of the 1934 FIFA World Cup with a 2-1 win against Sweden (halftime: 0-0) on Thursday afternoon at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan.
Karl Hohmann scored dual goals
Sweden made the Germans doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with two goals by German forward Karl Hohmann at '60 and '63.
