Italy beats Austria to reach World Cup final

MILAN, Jun. 3, 1934 (AMP) — Italy 1934 : Italy reached the FIFA World Cup final for the very first time in their history with a 1-0 win against Austria (halftime: 1-0) on Sunday afternoon at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan.

All the action happened in the first half, with Italian striker Enrique Guaita goal in the 19th minute.
