Brazil beats France to reach World Cup final
SOLNA, Jun. 24, 1958 (AMP) — Sweden 58 : Brazil reached the FIFA World Cup final for the very first time in their history with a 5-2 win against France (halftime: 2-1) on Tuesday night at the Rasunda Stadium in Solna.
Pelé scored tripple goals
Brazil dominated the first half thanks to goals from Vavá ('2) and Didi ('39). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Brazilians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Pelé '52, '64, '75).
