RANCAGUA, Jun. 10, 1962 (AMP) — Chile 62 : Czechoslovakia reached the semifinals of the 1962 FIFA World Cup with a 1-0 win against Hungary (halftime: 1-0) on Sunday afternoon at the El Teniente Stadium in Rancagua.
All the action happened in the first half, with Czechoslovak striker Adolf Scherer goal in the 13th minute.
