SANTIAGO, Jun. 10, 1962 (AMP) — Chile 62 : Yugoslavia reached the semifinals of the 1962 FIFA World Cup with a 1-0 win against Germany (halftime: 0-0) on Sunday afternoon at the Estadio Nacional de Chile in Santiago.
45 minutes of play and neither the Yugoslavs nor the Germans have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Yugoslav midfielder Petar Radaković with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
