VIñA DEL MAR, Jun. 13, 1962 (AMP) — Chile 62 : Czechoslovakia reached the FIFA World Cup final for the second time in their history with a 3-1 win against Yugoslavia (halftime: 0-0) on Wednesday afternoon at the Sausalito Stadium in Viña del Mar.
Adolf Scherer scored dual goals
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Kadraba ('48) and Scherer ('80, '84 on penalty).
