BUCHAREST, May. 30, 1965 (AMP) — England 66 (European Qualifiers) : Romania defeated Czechoslovakia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 1966 FIFA World Cup on Sunday.

The result put the Romanians second in Group 4 with 4 points. Czechoslovakia is third with no points. In their next game, Romania will meet group leaders Portugal on June 13, while Czechoslovakia will face Romania.
