RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 24, 1969 (AMP) — Mexico 70 (South American Qualifiers) : Brazil defeated Venezuela by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 5-0), in a World Cup qualifying game on Sunday.

The result put the Brazilians top of Group 2 with 10 points. Venezuela is bottom with one point. In their last game, Brazil will meet second-placed Paraguay on August 31.
