BARCELONA, Apr. 30, 1969 (AMP) — Mexico 70 (European Qualifiers) : Spain defeated Yugoslavia by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 1970 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday.

The result put the Spaniard second in Group 6 with 4 points. Yugoslavia is third with 3 points. In their next game, Spain will meet Finland on June 25, while Yugoslavia will face Finland.
