MUNICH, Jul. 7, 1974 (AMP) — Germany 74 : Germany claimed a second FIFA World Cup crown with a 2-1 win against the Netherlands (halftime: 2-1) in the final on Sunday afternoon at the Olympic Stadium in Munich.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Paul Breitner ('25 on penalty) and Gerd Müller ('43).
