HONG KONG, Jan. 4, 1981 (AMP) — Spain 82 (Asian Qualifiers) : China defeated North Korea on penalties 4-2, after the match ended 2-2 in regulation time, in the first leg of a qualifying game on Sunday. China, who won the first leg (2-2), advance to the next round of the ongoing FIFA World Cup. North Korea is eliminated.
